In such a short notice move from Queensland to Canberra, it was extremely hard to find a rental property that would suit our growing family and dog. After several inspections and real estate, we were beginning to lose hope and thinking we may have to live in a motel until we came across Distinct Property Management. We recently rented a property through Distinct Property Management. Taylor was excellent and processed our application quickly, ensuring we were kept updated throughout the process.

Kirsty and the team at distinct property have been nothing but pleasant to deal with since moving into our property 3 months ago. I spent the last 5 years dealing with a Real Estate Company and Property Manager that neglected to do even the most serious and necessary maintenance to my previous rental property. It is so refreshing to now have a property Manager that is willing to arrange repairs promptly and not make me feel like I am being a bother.

After having 7 different PMs from a well known "premium" agency in 6 years, finishing with the last 2 - who were very very sub-par for both myself and my tenants (although their accounts people were absolutely fantastic), I moved across to Distinct - purely on the basis of price - as my expectations for PMs in the ACT were now very very low, so I thought I may as well pay the minimum possible - the service could not be much worse ;(. After 12 months with Distinct, I can only say that their service for both my tenants and myself has been consistently outstanding, with good communication, very competent, and their office manager is just as responsive and professional as the other REA were. I could not recommend Distinct PM highly enough - their staff seem mature, stable ( if you are a landlord you will know what I mean ;) ) totally across the Tenancy Acts and very very competent. AAA+++
